Hi, I’m Kristina - the creator behind That Knot Place.

What started as a love for handmade decor slowly grew into a deeper appreciation for the calming, mindful process of knotting itself. Today, That Knot Place is a space for both beautiful macrame pieces and the creativity that comes from learning to make them yourself.

Using recycled cotton cord and natural textures, I create macrame kits, patterns and handmade decor designed to bring softness, warmth and calm into everyday spaces.

My style is inspired by quiet interiors, earthy textures and the slower pace of intentional living, the kind of spaces that invite you to switch off, get cosy and feel at home.

Alongside handmade pieces, I also create beginner-friendly tutorials and guided projects to help others discover macrame in a way that feels approachable rather than overwhelming. Whether you’re picking up cord for the first time or building confidence through more detailed designs, my aim is to make the creative process feel relaxing, rewarding and genuinely enjoyable.

I believe creativity doesn’t need to be perfect to be meaningful. Sometimes it’s simply about slowing down, working with your hands and creating something that feels personal to you.
